TL Loudspeaker Kit

        QTA supply their Transmission Lines in a number of formats to suit various customer requirements. They are all based upon a mechanical design of modest proportions in order to provide a better acoustic match to modern-sized living areas. The pre-veneered cabinets are provided with an oiled penetrant finish which resists scuffs and scratches. Available in the following options as completed units-:

         MODEL TL1. Passive Transmission Line. Finished in a veneer of your choice chosen from our standard range with complementary hardwood lippings and veneered front / rear panels. Drivers: Focal dual voice coil Kevlar, Mid Bass: Morel tweeter. Similar in style to the model shown.

         For those wishing to build their own cabinets and crossovers etc the detailed instructions and   procedures are given in our DIY Project pages along with a set of drawings. These can be downloaded as PDF files and include all the wood cutting details and the electrical / crossover information.

        If you don't fancy cutting your own woodwork then we can provide a set of cabinet panels ready cut. You still need to do some sanding, assembly and finishing. In order to achieve a satisfactory build you should familiarise yourself with the 'Manual' to ensure you have both the necessary tools and skills / aptitudes.

        Note: we do not 'stain' any of our cabinets and the colours obtained are those of the naturally occurring veneered species. Plain MDF cabinets are supplied in self-colour and need surface sealing.

Standard Veneers:- As available, Oak, Ash, Walnut, Mahogany, Cherry.
Exotic Veneers:- By Quotation,  Santos Rosewood, Birds Eye Maple, Hand veneered.
